Song lyrics

The 2 songs I have chosen for this exercise are ones that really capture something. Affirmation is a song that seems to always stop me in my tracks when I hear it. I think the repetition of 'I Believe' is powerful and the follow-on statements are big life issues that many of us deal with. It's almost like a description of an ideal world in which we'd all like to live.

Gary Jules 'Mad World' is another song that always makes me stop and listen. I think the haunting melody is beautiful and the words about the chaos outside of (but inside of) the human mind is intriguing
